Aliah University Admissions

Aliah University, previously known as Mohammedan College of Calcutta, is an autonomous minority university. Below are the admission criteria for this university:

Admission to most of the programs offered at this university is done through the Aliah University Admission Test (AUAT) except for B.Ed., M.Tech, and PhD courses.
Candidates applying for the B.Tech program need to submit a WBJEE exam score or they have to give the AUAT entrance test.
M.Tech admissions are based on GATE exam scores.
Admission to B.Ed is based on merit points in the previous qualifying exams and AUAT entrance test scores.

AUAT

AUAT is a national-level entrance test conducted by Aliah University to offer various UG, PG, and five-year integrated courses. Moreover, you must have qualified with 60% for the specific subject you have applied for and 5% in aggregate to be eligible for AUAT for UG programs. To be applicable for AUAT 2024, the candidates who have passed the final examination of any three-year degree program with minimum required marks in the concerned subject from any recognized university. Furthermore, AUAT registration fees are different for both males and females. The AUAT registration fee 2024 for males ₹500 and ₹300 for females.
