Your Hot Tub

One of the best ways to relax is with a hot tub. Its heat and steam, especially after a cold day or afternoon swim, can open up the pores and soothe the skin. It is a great stress reliever, one that offers peace and wellness. Soaking in one is a great experience, but soaking in one that’s your own is an even better experience to have.

So, having one of these is all well and good, but what about having one that’s custom-made? What about owning one that is tailor-suited and customized to your preferences? Wouldn’t that be even better? Now you may be wondering that having such is expensive, maybe more expensive than owning one. Well, you would be surprised, because having a custom-made hot tub is as simple as adding a few accessories.

I say accessories, but I feel the more correct term is an add-on. As the term states, these are little more than additions to your hot tub, ones that while seemingly minor, can help to not only elevate your experience, but also your relaxation. There is no shortage of add-ons to be added, but for time’s sake and this article’s length, I’ll go over only a few that you may find useful for your own hot tub. Different Hot tub Accessories

  1. Spa Covers and Mounts- One of the most important things about owning a hot tub is taking care of it, and one of the best ways to do that is to keep it covered when not in use. That’s where spa covers come in, asthese covers and mounts are designed for the purpose of protecting your hot tub when it is not being used. Having one of these covers helps to lessen the accumulation of debris like leaves or foliage, keeps the temperatures inside consistent, and even reduces potential energy costs by helping to prevent heat loss.

Should you decide to get one, make sure that the size is correct, as one that’s too small won’t give it the necessary protection, while one that’s too large will do the same and be hard to move around and position.

  1. Handrails and Steps- Handrails and steps are another add-on to be considered, especially when it comes to convenience purposes. These make it easier to access your hot tub without having to climb in or vault over the railing, along with severely lessening the risk of slipping or falling. Accessories like these are especially useful to the physically handicapped or the elderly, providing stability and safety. Should you be considering such, be sure that they’re not only sturdy, but can also support the weight of whoever uses them.
  1. Towel Racks- This add-on can be considered less of a necessity when compared to the others, and with good reason. Nonetheless, a towel rack is a nice convenience to have when wanting to mount your towels to hang or use. It’s something handy to have nearby without having to go inside your house for one and leave the comfort of your tub.
  1. Cleaning Tools- As I stated before, one of the most important aspects of owning a hot tub is taking care of it. And though a cover is efficient, it is not enough to help maintain it, you also have to keep it clean. And that’s where cleaning tools come in, as these help to keep it clean and functional for years to come. Some cleaning tools will include a skimmer net, a suction cleaner, a cover lifter, and others to help make such a job easier for you.
  1. Entertainment Items- A hot tub isn’t only defined by how clean it is, but also by how good it looks or how fun it is. Sometimes having an item or two to complement it is a great way to make it more welcoming and accessible to family, friends, and guests. Some of these can include umbrellas, waterproof speakers, floating lights, or even games like cards. You can even have pillows and headrests to help relax further!
